Methodology

Every golfer has an ownership rate — the percentage of teams in the pool that picked them. A golfer selected by 5 of 182 teams has 2.7% ownership; one on 40 teams has 22%. The inverse — how many teams didn't pick them — is their exclusivity.

The Weighted Rating (primary) multiplies each pick's exclusivity by its share of the team's 72-point budget before averaging. A 14-point player picked by 5% of teams contributes roughly twice as much to your rating as an 8-point player at the same ownership, because that expensive pick defines your roster more fundamentally. Click any team to see the per-golfer breakdown.

The Raw Score (secondary) treats all 6 picks equally regardless of PPV — a simple average of exclusivities. Comparing the two tells a story: a big gap means your uniqueness is concentrated either in your stars (weighted > raw) or in your value picks (raw > weighted).

Rivals counts teams sharing 3 or more golfers with you. High rival counts mean your fate is tied to many others — your wins are their wins too.

A high rating isn't inherently better — popular picks are popular for a reason. But if you're hunting for a big payday, a contrarian roster gives you more separation from the field when your guys run hot.

Charitable giving has been a core component of MMC history, with over $50K gifted to the Mark Morris Youth Fund, which was created in honor of my father and aims to provide opportunities for students through enrichment opportunities and scholarships. We use major championship golf as an opportunity to bring people together to share the joy of competition and improve lives.
